Vital Signs

Vital signs are measurements of the body's basic functions. They help nurses assess a patient's health status.

VITAL SIGNS INCLUDE:
1. Temperature - Normal: 36.1°C - 37.2°C (97°F - 99°F)
2. Pulse - Normal: 60-100 beats per minute
3. Respiration - Normal: 12-20 breaths per minute
4. Blood Pressure - Normal: 120/80 mmHg or less
5. Oxygen Saturation - Normal: 95-100%

Always document vital signs accurately and report any abnormalities to the attending physician.
